Cassy and Dustin have been together forever! I was elated when the news of their engagement was announced. When Cassy asked if I wanted to be their photographer she completely left it up to me. Afterall, I am her first cousin and she thought maybe I would not want to work for a day. Yeah right. I was honored that she would even ask me let alone give me a choice. That and I have four kids. Taking care of four kids at a wedding sounds like more work. So I happily agreed to photograph Cassy and Dustin's St. Rose, IL wedding, and left the children tending up to my dutiful husband. (Poor guy)

I am so excited to have made that choice. Spending time with Cassy and Dustin has been wonderful. I really thought Dustin would give us a hard time, but he was a complete gentleman the entire time. After the engagment session, I thought to myself, he really loves her and she really loves him. He put up with pictures becuase she wanted them, and she puts up with hunting and fishing because he loves it. Marriages are all about a little give and take and watching them together really makes me believe they have got what it takes to build a beautiful lasting relationship. Thank you two so much for sharing your day with me and letting me capture it all for you. 

Oh the pigs!! Their names are Cassey and Dustin. Cassey the pig peed everywhere...

Notice the girl in the purple dress? Yeah...That's my daughter taking notes apparently. I had no idea she was there until I started going through pictures. Which I felt the need to sensor most of these. Lauren and I will be reading Mary Poppin's and Little Women in order to clense her memory of this event. HA! The toss....

Yeah, He's getting married next weekend. So since he is already a lame duck, he took one for the team.After Cassy and Danny, Dustin's Dad, danced together, he walked past me and said, "Dustin does a lot of fishing, but she is by far his best catch."  It made me teary eyed because I completely agree! Cassy you are such a strong, beautiful and intellegent woman and Dustin, I think you are just hilarrious! You both care so much about your families and it was evident all day long! There are not a lot of detail pictures here because the details just aren't important to you two. Your families and friends will always be your greatest treasures. Good luck with your marriage and please don't keep us all waiting too long for the babies because you two are going to be awesome parents!
